The 28th Anniversary of Master Mezari’s Martyrdom
A Commemoration Ceremony for the 28th Martyrdom Anniversary of Abdul Ali Mezari, the Founder of the National Unity
The Afghanistan Hazaras Culture and Solidarity Association (AHCSA) organized a commemoration ceremony in Trabzon to mark the 28th anniversary of the martyrdom of Abdul Ali Mezari, the founder of the National Unity. The event was attended by a large crowd, including university professors, analysts, researchers, students, and migrants from various cities. The ceremony paid tribute to the martyrs and expressed condolences to the victims of the recent earthquake disaster in Turkey.
After the recitation of the Quran, the program was opened with a speech by Muhammet Gül, the president of the Afghanistan Hazaras Culture and Solidarity Association. At the beginning of the program, students who were injured in the terrorist attacks on Sayed ul-Shuheda School and Kaj Education Center and are currently receiving treatment in Turkey took the stage and addressed the participants.
Following the opening speeches, a scientific panel was held under the chairmanship of Prof. Dr. Bilgehan Atsız Gökdağ, with the participation of Prof. Dr. Meşkure Yılmaz, Dr. Babak Javanshir, Dr. Asif Moballegh, and Sayed Fazel Sancharaki. The panelists discussed the personality traits of Ustad Abdul Ali Mezari, the history of Afghan Turks, the situation of women in Afghanistan, and an analysis of the situation of the Hazaras after Ustad Mezari. They delivered valuable and thought-provoking speeches on these topics.
The program continued with a video recording of a speech by Mohammad Golzari, who conducts research on ethnic groups, as well as laments, poems, and performances by local Hazara artists accompanied by the dombra, and presentations by our association’s committees.
At the end of the commemoration ceremony, Muhammad Gül, the president of the Afghanistan Hazaras Culture and Solidarity Association, thanked all the participants.
